I never really got around to talking about how Dragon*Con went, and it's probably far more interesting than the things I usually post about, so here goes!

So, Saturday was my birthday. Which was uneventful, but mostly lovely, and consisted of a Life on Mars marathon (which I'd meant to do way back on John Simm's birthday on the 10th, but didn't), followed by a Doctor Who one.

Also, here's my cake:

Right, so. I'm back! I was going to do the obligatory "I'm back" post on Wednesday, when I actually got back, but I've been feeling rather sick since then, so I didn't bother.

But yeah, I'm here now, and the convention was mostly awesome. Meeting the majority of the actors from Star Trek: TNG blew my mind. My childhood self is flailing even ( Read more... )
